The Tuscany region is dominated by centuries old villages, castles, olive groves, vineyards and long hot sunny days!It is also an area used by some of the world's top cyclists as a pre season training ground and it is easy to see why with spectacular sights and a huge variety of riding options.

On this tour you can ride past fields of olive trees and vineyards, and through medieval villages built by the Romans.

It is the perfect place for a cycling holiday and Kiwi Style Bike Tours are pleased to be able to offer this popular tour again for 2010.

Lucca is the first stop on this tour. Lucca is a medieval town (180 BC) surrounded by a 30ft, 4 km long stone wall. It is possible to ride along the top of the wall and is a great way to wind down after a memorable ride around the area.

The ride above the world famous Cinque Terre is sure to be a highlight of your trip.

Monte Serra (917m) is also nearby, a very popular climb and often used by professionals to gauge their fitness levels. Why not try to beat Ivan Basso's record of 16 min 10 sec!

The last half of the tour moves to one of the most famous Tuscan villages, San Gimignano, a village dominated by its 15 towers and also home to the world gelato champion!
