11 Nights: The Pyrenees mountain range sits on the border between France and Spain. Along with hot dry weather and superb mountain scenery the Pyrenees are home to famous mountain passes and quiet country roads making for divine cycling. The area has also provided the setting for some of the biggest cycling battles with the world's best cyclists.

Our location in the heart of the Pyrenees gives you access to famous mountains like the Col du Tourmalet, Col d'Aspin, Col de Peyresourde, and the Col d'Aubisque and are all within easy riding distance of our hotel.

While some of the climbs may challenge you they will also provide you with a massive sense of achievement, and a new found respect to what a professional cyclist experiences on race day.

The tour includes a stay in Couiza near the walled and very famous city of Carcassone.

The region offers a huge variety of riding options and stunning scenery. The New Zealand cycling high performance training centre was based nearby in Limoux.

We also visit the Bordeaux area, a region that has been producing wine for over 700 years and is dominated by over 5000 chateaux producing some of the world's best red wine, making for dramatic riding and glorious scenery.

The rides follow the gentle rolling roads around the famous wine area of Saint Emilion in the heart of Bordeaux and include a magnificent ride along the Dordogne River. The medieval 8th century village St Emilion features on most of our Bordeaux rides and will be a highlight of your holiday.

Castles, high mountain passes and vineyards combining to make for a spectacular cycling holiday!

Saint Emilion in the Bordeaux region.
